BUS SCHEDULE
TO CAMP
We provide a bus service to Camp Paxson from Mount Ellis Academy in Bozeman, MT and from Butte, MT. The bus leaves the academy parking lot in Bozeman at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 22 and will stop to pick up campers at the Harley Davison parking lot in Butte (Exit 228) between 1:30 & 2:00 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a timely departure. The cost of round-trip transportation from these locations is $50. Registration for the bus is on the camper registration form.
The returning bus will depart from Camp Paxson at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 29. It arrives at the Harley Davidson parking lot in Butte (Exit 228) at 12:30 p.m. and the Mount Ellis Academy parking lot in Bozeman at approximately 2:00 p.m. You will be notified via phone in case of an emergency or for any major change in the bus schedule. Bus times are flexible and can vary around 15 minutes.

Camp Paxson is located on the shore of Seeley Lake. To get here, take the north entrance to Boy Scout Rd off of Hwy. 83. Coming from the south, you will pass through the town of Seeley Lake before turning onto the northern end of Boy Scout Rd to circle the lake.
If you have been coming to camp for years, this route has changed. The Boy Scout Road Bridge has been closed due to major structural deterioration and will not be reopened for at least three seasons. The new route adds about 15 minutes to your travel.
